Lunics
Inspired by the comets that were said to pass Earth around 2012, these drawings capture what I could not see with my eyes but vividly imagined in my mind. With black ink and red chalk, I traced the curve of the Earth, the atmosphere, and the fleeting presence of Comet Lovejoy. Lunics – a play on Luna, the moon – reflects the wonder of imagination and the unseen.
